What can be the cause of issues experienced in the Swept Mobile App?
- Data services are not enabled for the Swept app on your device.
- The internet connection is weak/unstable.
- If using data, the service provider for the device is experiencing issues/downtime. (If you believe there is an issue with the phone carrier of the device you may need to contact the company for support).
- The Swept app is not up to date.
- The Operating System for the mobile device is not updated.
- The mobile device does not have any memory left to use. This may cause slowness to occur when using apps.
- There might be an app(s) that conflicts with the Swept mobile app.
- There might be a hardware issue with the mobile device itself.
What are the steps to troubleshoot?
- If using data, verify data services are enabled for Swept. (This is typically found in your device settings).
- Verify that the internet connection to the device is strong and stable. (Please note: certain areas in a building can block signals which may cause connectivity issues).
- Close down the Swept app completely.
- Close down all apps running in the background.
- Restart your mobile device.
- Confirm that the Swept app is on the most up-to-date version.
- Verify that the mobile device is completely up to date on the most current operating system. (This is typically found in your device settings).
- Delete the Swept app and re-install it on the device. (This will install the most current version of the Swept app to your mobile device).
- If it appears there may be an issue within the device itself, please contact the carrier for the device.
- Open your device's Settings app.
- Tap System.
- System update.
- You'll find your update status.
How Do I Confirm My App is Up to Date?
Some updates within Swept require users to update their Swept mobile app on their device. If you are looking to verify that your mobile device has the current version of the Swept app, you can do this by following the steps below.
- Click on the Swept app icon to open the app.
- Sign in to the app.
- Go to the last option in the navigation bar. It will be either …More (manager and supervisor) or Me (cleaner). The version number will appear at the bottom of this page.
If you know the app version you are seeing is the most current version of the app, you are all set.
If you are unsure, you can verify this within the application store for your mobile device (App Store or Google Play Store).
- Open the application store for your device.
- Once in the application store, type in "Swept" in the search bar.
- Once you have searched for "Swept" and can see the results, click on the Swept icon.
Once you have clicked on the "Swept" icon you will be brought to the details page of the app and can view the current version within. If you see an option to Update the Swept app, this means you are not on the current version and will need to update. Deleting the Swept app and re-installing it from the application store for your device will download the most current version as well).

What type of phone and operating system do I need to use the Swept mobile app?
Android - Swept currently supports Android mobile devices running version 8.1 and higher.
iOS - Swept currently supports iOS mobile devices running version 12.5.3 and higher.
Using Swept on devices with previous versions not officially supported by Swept may result in functionality and usability issues. We recommend using only devices that meet or exceed our minimum operating system (OS) requirements.
