Multi-Company in Swept allows all users to switch between different organizations they are associated with and have different profiles for each. This works even if a user uses the same email or phone number for their different roles.
What can it do?
Our new Multi-Company support addresses these limitations. Now, you can:
- Add Users with Existing Emails: You can add a user with an email address that is already associated with another company on our platform.
- Multiple Profiles, One Email: A single user can now have distinct profiles for different companies, all linked to the same email address. This eliminates the need to remove old profiles or create new email accounts for each affiliation.
- Enhanced User Experience: Users can easily switch between their company profiles, streamlining their workflow and access to relevant data for each organization.
How does it work?
On the web platform:
For registering yourself or other users, the flow is exactly the same. Simply add the email or phone number of the user you’re looking to add to the profile.
Once a user logs in to Swept, if they have multiple ties to different organizations, they will now see a drop down menu next to their first registered organization.

On the mobile app:
Click on the “Me” section at the bottom of your screen. You will now see a new option to view different companies you work with. Clicking on the “Switch Company” button will allow you to choose which company can view your profile under.


Note: To use and see the Multi-Company features, ensure that you are on the latest version of the mobile app.
FAQ:
If I’m a cleaner with one company and a supervisor with another, can I still use multi-company?
Yes! The actions you can take under each company depends on your role, so you’ll likely see different tools if you work under different roles for each company.
Can I still update my profile?
Yes. You can edit your profile information such as your name, email, phone number, or language at any time. Any changes you make will automatically update across ALL the companies you’re connected to in Swept. You can also contact your administrator for support, although you will be responsible for actually editing the information.

Glossary
Multi-Company: Multi-Company is the new feature within Swept where a user can switch between different companies that they are associated with. Users can now have different roles with different companies, all while using the same email or phone number.
Company Account: A Company Account is each individual company or organization that a user is associated with. Each user can be associated with multiple companies, each with different profiles, and these can be selected from the drop down at the top (on the web app) or within the “Me” section (on the mobile app).
Profile: A Profile includes the settings and roles that an individual has within a company account. A profile will include important information such as scheduled shifts, cleaning checklists, etc. for that specific company account.
