How to Request Supplies

Learn how Managers, Cleaners, and Supervisors can Request Supplies from the Swept mobile app.

Who can order Supplies?

Managers, Cleaners, and Supervisors can request supplies.

Where can you request supplies?

Supplies can only be requested in the Swept mobile app.

How to Request Supplies

Location Details

  • Sign in to your Swept mobile app and clock in for your shift.
  • While you’re clocked in, tap Location Details.
  • Or tap Locations (bottom menu) and choose the location where you want to request supplies.
  • Scroll down and select Request Supplies.
  • You’ll see the supplies assigned to that location, including images to help you choose the correct item.
  • For the supply you want to request, enter:
    • Remaining: how many supply items are left at the location
    • Needed: how many supply items the location needs
  • Not sure what numbers to enter? Send a message to your supervisor or manager before submitting.
  • Tap Submit Request.
  • You’ll see a confirmation message that your request was submitted, and your manager will be notified.

Important Notes:

  • The Supplies Request feature is not an inventory tool.
  • Remaining cannot be submitted as 0.
  • Needed is required to submit a request.

Prevent Duplicate Requests

If a supply item has already been requested and is pending approval, it will not appear as available to request again. This helps prevent duplicate requests until a Manager or Supervisor completes the pending request.

Pending requests can be reviewed and completed in both the web app and the Swept mobile app by a Manager or Supervisor.

How to see the pending Requested Supplies?

Tap the Requested tab to see supplies that have already been requested. You’ll see the request date, the Remaining quantity at the time of the request, and the Needed quantity.

While a request is still pending, that supply item won’t be available to request again. Once the pending request is completed, it will become available to request again if needed.
