List of Supported Devices- Mobile App

Swept mobile app is available on both iOS and Android. Here's a list of all supported devices.

Swept mobile app is available for both iOS and Android mobile devices through the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.

NOTE: Swept app is not supported on tablets or iPads and will not be available for download from the stores on these devices.

Supported mobile operating systems

Swept app is supported on all Android and iOS operation systems running the following OS versions.

  • Android: Swept app currently supports Android mobile devices running version 8.1 and higher.
  • iOS: Swept app currently supports iOS mobile devices running version 12.5.3 and higher.

NOTE: Please note that the use of the Swept app on devices using previous versions not officially supported by Swept may result in functionality and usability issues. It is recommended to use only devices that meet or exceed our minimum operating system (OS) requirements. 

NOTE: To use the latest features in the Swept app, we recommend that you regularly update the app to the newest version available through the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.

How do you pick which OS version Swept app supports?

In order to determine which OS Swept app supports, we test the app on multiple devices running that operating system to ensure it works correctly. We also take into consideration what operating systems the majority of devices on the market are running along with manufacturer guidelines. As an example, the manufacturer only continues to update and support certain OS versions, and we base our Swept app-supported devices on this list.

What if my device can’t be updated to a supported OS? Can I still use Swept+ on an unsupported OS?

Some older devices are unable to run newer operating systems due to upgraded hardware requirements. In these cases, you can try to use the Swept app on your device, but it may result in functionality and usability issues. It is recommended to use only devices that meet or exceed our minimum operating system requirements.

How do I update my phone?

Please check the user manual for your device to determine what operating systems your device supports and how to upgrade your OS.

My device isn’t running one of the supported operating systems, but the Swept app still works. Why is that?

Although we do our best, we cannot test the Swept app on all of the available device and OS combinations available. In some cases, there may be an OS that is not on our supported devices list that Swept app will still function fine on. In these cases, you can continue to use the Swept app on the device, but some issue may become apparent that we will be unable to rectify.

What OS version is my device running?

Wondering what OS version your device is running? Follow the instructions below to find out if your device is supported.

  • Andriod: Access your device's "Settings" menu, then tap on "About Phone" or "About Device." From there, select "Android Version" to view your current version information.

These are general steps that work for most Andriod devices. For details on specific devices, please check your user manual. 

  • iPhone: To check the version of your iOS device, navigate to "Settings," then select "General." From there, tap on "About" and look for the "Version" entry to find your current operating system information.
