Viewing the Audit Log for Your Swept Account
The Audit Log gives admins a real-time record of important activities and changes made across their Swept account. It helps you understand what changed, who made the change, when it happened, and which part of the account was affected.
To View the Audit Log:
1. Open Audit Log: In the Swept web platform, go to Reports, scroll to the bottom of the list, and select Audit Log.
2. Review the activity feed: New eligible activities appear in real time. Each card identifies the team member, activity type, entity, related record or location when available, and source.
3. Open the details: Select Show details to view the specific values that changed and additional information such as the exact timestamp, source, and entity.
4. Narrow the results: Use the search bar or filters to focus on a particular activity, team member, entity, location, or date range.
5. Export when needed: Select Download CSV to export Audit Log activity for offline review.

1. What appears on an activity card?
The following information is available on an activity card:
- Time of the activity and a relative time reference.
- Team member who completed the activity.
- Activity type: Create, Update, or Delete.
- Entity type, such as Shifts or Time Entries.
- Related record or location name when available.
- Short description of what happened.
- Source, shown as web or mobile.
2. What activity types can an Admin filter by?
Admins can filter activities by the following types:
- Create
- Update
- Delete
